In Operation Dara-e-Bolan, 385 Sarmachars, including 12 fidayeen from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), successfully executed a mission to liberate Mach city to gain control within radius of 70Km, encompassing the main NH 65 highway. The operation, spanning from January 29 to January 31, resulted in the elimination of 78 enemy personnel.
Jeeyand Baloch, the BLA spokesperson, revealed that the senior command council concluded the mission after achieving its objectives. Notably, 45 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed in the initial three hours in Mach city, followed by 10 FC personnel at Pirghib Bolan and four on an army convoy in Gokrit Mach. Additionally, 12 regular army personnel infiltrated the FC headquarters, targeting at least 5 Special Service Group (SSG) commandos and other officials.
Despite the BLA’s capture of Levies and policemen, released under the condition of neutrality, an unfortunate incident involving an SHO occurred. The SHO, taking advantage of BLA’s leniency, was killed. Thirteen Baloch Liberation Army comrades, including 12 from Majeed Brigade and one from Fateh Squad, achieved martyrdom during the operation.
Operation Dara-e-Bolan aimed to showcase the BLA’s capability to control Balochistan’s cities, emphasizing the need for a dedicated Baloch army to counter the occupying Pakistani forces. The spokesperson urged the Baloch nation to actively support the BLA, either through direct participation or political, economic, and diplomatic backing.
Highlighting the historical cooperation with allied parties under Baloch Raji Ajoi-e-Sangar (Brass), the BLA aims to unify the Baloch nation against the common enemy. The spokesperson emphasized the BLA’s readiness to cooperate with nations sharing common interests in countering the occupiers.
Furthermore, the BLA sought to convey a message to the international community, demonstrating their ability to conduct significant operations independently. They appealed to global powers aligned with Baloch national interests, expressing a willingness to engage in discussions and cooperation against the common enemy. Additionally, the spokesperson warned against mistreating Baloch women, asserting the BLA’s commitment to defending their honor.
In conclusion, Operation Dara-e-Bolan not only achieved its military objectives but also served as a platform for the BLA to assert its legitimacy, call for national unity, and appeal for international support in the struggle for Balochistan’s liberation.
