Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), announced that on June 4, 2025, the freedom fighters conducted a targeted operation based on intelligence from their secret wing. During this operation, they captured Assistant Commissioner of Tump, Muhammad Hanif Noorzai, along with his family members, guards, and driver at the location of Sarenkan.
Despite the capture, the BLF emphasized their commitment to humanitarian and ethical principles. They respectfully and safely released the Assistant Commissioner’s family members and sent them home unharmed, along with his guards and driver. This act reflects their stance on minimizing harm to civilians and non-combatants during their operations.
Muhammad Hanif Noorzai has been handed over to the organization’s investigative team to facilitate further inquiry. The BLF stated that they will make a formal announcement regarding their decision after completing the investigation into the circumstances of his capture and their objectives.
The organization issued a clear warning to Pakistani state institutions, stating that any military or aggressive efforts to recover the Assistant Commissioner during this period would result in consequences and damages solely attributable to the occupying Pakistani authorities. The BLF reaffirmed their position on resistance and self-determination for Balochistan.
