The Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) organized a book campaign called “Balochistan Kitaab Karwaan” to promote education and address challenges in the region. However, a book stall set up under this initiative was raided by local police and administration in the town of Taunsa.
The BSAC claims that students present at the stall were harassed by police and ordered to leave the premises. The group suspects that the raid was an attempt by authorities to undermine their efforts to provide educational resources to local youth and promote awareness about the educational challenges in Balochistan.
Despite the disruption, the BSAC has vowed to continue their campaign and resist any further attempts to shut down their efforts. They remain committed to addressing the educational issues in Balochistan and aim to inspire the youth through access to educational resources.
