Last night, at around 3:00 AM, Pakistani state intelligence agencies forcibly raided the home of Saeed Tweeno and his younger brother Dilbar Tweeno, abducted them, and subjected them to enforced disappearance. During the raid, the house was vandalised, the family was severely harassed, and all mobile phones, along with other belongings, were seized.
We strongly condemn this brutal state action and the ongoing enforced disappearances of innocent political and national activists. This is a blatant violation of human rights, which continues to escalate in Sindh with each passing day.
We urgently appeal to the international conscience, the United Nations, human rights organisations, and international media to take immediate notice of these atrocities in Sindh and to act for the safe recovery of innocent political and national activists.
