The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a video showcasing their recent attack on a Pakistan Coast Guards post in Jiwani, a coastal town in Balochistan. The footage indicates that this assault was part of a series of coordinated operations conducted across various regions of Balochistan. The group described the attack as a significant strike carried out by their forces in the area.
In the video, BLA fighters are seen approaching the targeted post on motorcycles, equipped with what appear to be modern firearms and body-mounted action cameras. The militants carefully approach the premises, suggesting a planned and organized operation. Their gear and equipment indicate a level of sophistication and preparation for such attacks.
Once at the post, the fighters breach the perimeter and are seen opening fire shortly after entering the compound. During the attack, at least two personnel are visible being shot, highlighting the deadly intensity of the assault. The footage captures the chaos and violence of the operation, emphasizing the threat posed by the group.
During the initial moments of the attack, one individual is seen attempting to flee the scene. However, he is quickly targeted by another attacker, indicating a coordinated effort to eliminate witnesses or potential threats. The video underscores the lethal nature of the operation and the resolve of the militants to carry out their objectives.
In the final segment of the footage, weapons seized during the attack are displayed, showcasing the arsenal used by the militants. The display of confiscated arms serves as a testament to the scale and seriousness of the operation, as well as the group’s preparedness for such confrontations.
Jeeyand Baloch, a spokesperson for the BLA, previously stated that the Jiwani operation was carried out by the group’s “urban guerrilla unit.” He described it as a “highly organized and coordinated operation,” with fighters camouflaging themselves to gain access to the Coast Guard post. The group identified the slain personnel as Naik Saleem, Sepoy Adnan Rao, and Sepoy Azeem, and claimed that the attack was part of a broader campaign across Balochistan from March 6 to March 16, during which they reported killing 55 Pakistani personnel.
