Baloch Human Rights Council of Canada has written to Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau saying why no action was initiated against Pakistan on the dreadful killing of Baloch activist, Karima Baloch’s murder in 2020. The issue resurfaced when Canada acted promptly against India on the killing of a Sikh separatist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June 2023. Nijjar is demanded in India on various terror accusations who Trudeau defends by calling a ‘Canadian Citizen.’ He allegedly belongs to a terror organization- Khalistan Liberation Force. However, his selective criticism is widely denounced by the Baloch all over as it’s been three-years since Karima was killed on Canadian soil and no inquiry was ever initiated against her killers.

Trudeau’s hypocrisy is acknowledged even by his Members of Parliament. The latest incident is said to be a publicity stunt to gain votes from the Sikh community residing in Canada as Trudeau’s minority government (Liberals) stands in coalition with NDP’s Jagmeet Singh who is an alleged Khalistani supporter.
