Reports have emerged of Pakistani security operations taking place across several areas of Balochistan, with local families accusing authorities of enforced disappearances following these raids and search missions. According to sources on the ground, these operations have caused widespread concern and distress among residents, who claim that multiple individuals have been detained without explanation.
On the night of February 8, 2026, Pakistani forces reportedly conducted a raid in the Gulshan Amirabad area of Hub Chowki. During this operation, several individuals were taken into custody by security personnel. Family members identified those detained as Abdul Rab, Mohammad Rahim, Abdul Razzaq, and Abdul Malik, all of whom are brothers from Mashkay Nokjo. The families allege that these men have been unjustly abducted during the crackdown.
In addition to the four brothers, relatives reported that Shahzaib, Jahangir, Noroz, and Shahmeer, who are related to the original detainees, were also seized by security forces during the same operation. Another individual, Dad Shah, son of Fazal Karim, was reportedly detained as well. Family members have expressed concern over the fate of these men, fearing that they may be subjected to mistreatment or illegal detention.
The affected families further alleged that women and children present during the raid were subjected to physical abuse. They described scenes of violence and distress, with accounts indicating that civilians were beaten and mistreated during the security operation. The families are calling for accountability and transparency regarding the whereabouts of their loved ones.
Fazal Karim, a government employee linked to the police, was reportedly abducted earlier from Khuzdar district. His son, Nawaz, also a government employee, was detained during the recent operation. Additionally, Dad Shah, the son of Fazal Karim, was taken from Hub Chowki, raising concerns about targeted detention of individuals associated with government institutions or local communities.
Separately, reports from Noshki district detailed a large-scale security operation in Killi Jamaldini and surrounding areas. Local sources claim that security forces cordoned off the region and conducted house-to-house searches. Residents reported that during these searches, civilians were beaten, and mobile phones were confiscated, further adding to the atmosphere of fear and suspicion among the local population.
