As the first anniversary of Baloch Raaji Muchi (Baloch National Gathering) approaches, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has announced a series of commemorative events to mark this significant milestone. Over time, Raaji Muchi has transformed from a political assembly into a powerful symbol of Baloch national heritage and unity, embodying the collective identity and resilience of the Baloch people.
The BYC highlighted that the gathering brought together thousands of Baloch from across the region, who traveled long distances to attend in Talar and Gwadar. This mass mobilization demonstrated a profound sense of national cohesion and resistance against oppressive forces. The event served not only as a show of solidarity but also as a reaffirmation that true strength resides in unity and the collective will of the Baloch nation, rather than in systems founded on repression and violence.
The committee emphasized that the event was illuminated by the sacrifices of unarmed Baloch martyrs, whose blood continues to inspire generations to stand against threats to their national survival and cultural identity. Raaji Muchi rejected social divisions and conveyed a message of resistance and awareness to every Baloch household, emphasizing the importance of unity, resilience, and collective consciousness.
To sustain and promote this spirit of resistance and awareness, the BYC has planned various intellectual, political, and public programs in connection with the anniversary. These include webinars focusing on Baloch national unity, the current political landscape, and the history of resistance, as well as academic discussions and public forums under the theme “Baloch Raaji Muchi: National Unity and the Philosophy of Resistance.” Additionally, pamphlet distribution campaigns, social media awareness initiatives, and commemorative ceremonies at martyr graves are part of these efforts.
The organisation has called upon all its regional branches and zonal bodies to begin preparations immediately for these events. The BYC has appealed to the Baloch people to actively participate by engaging in local intellectual sessions, attending memorial ceremonies at martyrs’ graves, and participating in online awareness campaigns. The goal is to ensure that the spirit of Raaji Muchi continues to grow, fostering unity and resistance among the Baloch community across the region.
