In a disturbing incident in Kech district, Balochistan, Pakistani security forces reportedly opened fire on a vehicle on Thursday night, injuring the occupants, who were then allegedly abducted and taken to an undisclosed location. The shooting took place in the Buleda area, where there has been an unusual concentration of security personnel.
Local sources indicate that the forces fired indiscriminately at the vehicle, resulting in injuries to those inside. Following the attack, the area was sealed off, and the injured individuals were apprehended and transported to an unknown destination.
On Friday morning, residents discovered the abandoned vehicle at the site of the incident. Its windows were shattered, and there were evident bloodstains, confirming the injuries sustained by the occupants. Due to the heavy security presence at the time of the incident, it was impossible to ascertain the identities of the individuals involved, and no official comment has been issued by authorities.
It is noteworthy that substantial numbers of security forces have been deployed in the nearby Gardank and Shurma Kor areas of Buleda. Recently, two individuals, identified as Murad, son of Abdullah, and Shaukat, have reportedly been ‘forcibly disappeared’ by Pakistani forces, with no details provided by authorities regarding their status.
