The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a pro-government militia camp located in Balochistan’s Kachhi district. The group announced that its fighters successfully targeted the facility, resulting in its destruction and the detention of one of its members. This action is part of the BRG’s ongoing efforts against forces supporting the provincial government.
In a statement shared with the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch described the operation as a “major attack” on a camp belonging to Mithal Mughairi, a known pro-government militia leader. The attack took place in the Mithal Abad area of Kachhi district, where the group’s fighters carried out the assault with the aim of weakening the militia’s presence in the region.
Dostain Baloch accused the camp of being under the patronage of Provincial Minister Asim Kurd Gello. He alleged that during the attack, members of the “death squad” operating from the camp fled the scene, while BRG fighters managed to detain one individual associated with the group. The spokesperson emphasized that the camp was completely destroyed after BRG fighters set it on fire.
The BRG openly accepted responsibility for the operation and described it as part of their broader struggle. Dostain Baloch stated that such operations would continue until the group achieves what they refer to as the “complete independence of Balochistan.” The statement underscores the ongoing conflict and the BRG’s commitment to their cause.
