Kharan Deputy Commissioner Muneer Soomro, along with his two personal guards, was reportedly abducted on the Kharan–Nushki Road in Balochistan, according to initial information provided by police sources. The incident took place while Soomro was traveling in the area, and contact was lost with all three individuals during the journey.
Police sources mentioned that since the abduction, the mobile phones of Soomro and his guards have remained switched off, making it difficult to establish their current location or condition. The authorities have not yet officially confirmed the abduction but are actively working to gather more information about the incident.
Efforts to locate the deputy commissioner and his guards are ongoing, with police teams continuing to search for clues. Multiple locations are being examined as part of the investigation, and officials are trying to understand the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
Law enforcement agencies in Nushki, Kharan, and Chagai have been mobilized to assist in the search operation. These teams are conducting extensive searches at various sites and collecting intelligence to determine the whereabouts of Soomro and his guards.
