The mother of missing Baloch student leader Zakir Majeed Baloch has said that my son was forcibly disappeared on June 8, 2009, and is still missing.
He said that a seminar will be held in Quetta on June 8 this month, while a one-day protest camp will be organized his family in front of the Karachi Press Club, for which all schools of thought, including students. Thus, all are requested to participate and be the voice of those missing.
It should be noted that the forced disappearance of Zakir Majeed is about to complete 14 years, while Baloch Missing Persons Day is being observed on June 8, the day of Zakir Majeed’s enforced disappearance. This day is named after all the Baloch missing persons.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons supported the protest on the appeal of Zakir Majeed’s mother and VBMP General Secretary Sammi Deen Baloch. People from all walks of life- philanthropists, human rights activists, political and social workers have been requested to participate in this protest, so that they could raise their voice for the recovery of Zakir Majeed and other Baloch who have been abducted by Pakistani forces and missing for years now.
