Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Central President of National Party Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has said that the resolution passed in the National Assembly to build Pak China Gwadar University in Lahore is unacceptable as it forms no relation with Gwadar. He further said that the need of educational institutions is in Gwadar.
He has said that the establishment of Pak China University in Gwadar is the right of the children here, but this right is being taken away from them. No connection is acceptable. Feroz Khan Noon airport too should be named after Gwadar. The state attempts to erase the Baloch history, culture and identity through these tactics.
Baloch Freedom Front, an organization working for the freedom of Balochistan has also condemned the decision by claiming it as a direct attack on Baloch identity. Facilities belonging to the people of Gwadar are being snatched away from them and they are being devoid of basic amenities.

Resources and minerals which rightfully belong to the people of Balochistan are illegally stolen from them and provided to other states. They are deprived of fundamental necessities like education and health.
