The very life-blood history of Altruist freedom fighters: A tribute to the martyrs of Balochistan – Khalid Baloch

Although every fencible fighter’s martyrdom has its own significance in the course to self-determination, but a sacrifice that brings about a continuous change, completes the meaning of atonement of enlightenment. Ustad Aslam’s sacrifice of his beloved son, martyr Rehan, has personified a death-embracing, altruist ideology. This credo became a stepping stone for the altruist fighters of the Majeed Brigade.

Therefore, I call this the gravitational practice of the sacrifice of valorous martyred heroes for the homeland because the mother and father chose the homeland over their son and sent him for the great oblation. This fascinating act of valiant parents gave endless illumination to the national struggle.

Fortunately, before I read about such great sacrifices in the books; I have witnessed the same in Balochistan. I have profound reverence for these valiant warriors whose acts of courage and resilience have revived the identity of the Baloch nation.

On the other hand, the audacious act of martyr Shari Baloch gave this credo a new contour by embracing martyrdom for the dignity and sovereignty of the Baloch nation. As martyr commander Hamid alias Zubair Baloch said, every life lost to the love of the motherland is the aftermath of Rehan’s self-sacrificing foray known as “The Era/Age of Rehan’s War”, for it has altered the veer of this war.

Commander Asad Yousaf once articulated that when the consciousness of a man reaches the level of maturity, choosing a righteous path won’t be a big deal for him.

As Saint Ustad Aslam cautioned the enemy in an interview, this war is in the hands of our assailants, it is up to them how they’ll swerve it and we respond accordingly.

Similarly, the incursions of Panjgoor and Nushki camps were exemplification of aforesaid words of the commanders whose combatants relinquished the foe morally and psychologically by providing safe passage to their women and children, leaving them hollowed by keeping the camp of the enemy under siege for three days.

Since 13th November is anticipated or commemorated as the remembrance day of martyrs, but it should be comprehended as more than a day of reminiscence rather a day that reminds us of the fighters’ endeavors and their fidelity to the motherland. A day that demonstrates the significance of harmony and congruence to comprehend this battle by being part of it as per our capabilities.

As Commander Babar Yousaf alias Ajiz articulated, for the deliverance of decades of enslavement, we need not be intimidated by death because slavery itself is more lethal than death.

For the fencible and valiant the righteous path of self-sacrifice is always superior when they bow down to embrace martyrdom for sovereignty or to forestall ongoing perennial injustice.

Thus, it is our responsibility to contribute to the national struggle for self-determination by not letting the sacrifices of our martyrs go in vain.
