BLA announces several attacks in Balochistan

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) announced on Sunday that its fighters conducted a series of attacks across various regions of Balochistan. The group targeted Pakistani security forces, military positions, and vehicles as part of their ongoing operations. In addition, the BLA claimed to have executed three individuals accused of working as intelligence agents after the “Baloch National Court” sentenced them to death.

In a media statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch detailed the locations of these attacks, which included Surab, Zehri, Nushki, Kalat, and Kharan. The group described these operations as part of their broader effort to resist what they described as occupying forces and to fight against collaboration with the Pakistani military.

According to the BLA, two Pakistani soldiers were killed in Nushki on Sunday during an attack on a roadblock set up by troops at Badal Kariz Cross. The group claimed that its fighters successfully targeted the security personnel during this operation, inflicting casualties on the Pakistani military.

The statement also mentioned that the BLA destroyed two surveillance cameras in Nushki’s Ghareebabad area on 25 September. These cameras were reportedly installed by the military as part of their monitoring and surveillance activities, and the destruction was presented as a direct attack on military intelligence infrastructure.

In Surab’s Khesun Dun area, the BLA claimed that fighters blocked the highway for two hours on Saturday. During this time, they carried out snap checks and engaged in armed activities, disrupting military movement and operations in the region. The group said such actions are part of their strategy to challenge military presence in Balochistan.

The group also reported an attack in Kalat’s Khazinai area, where a vehicle transporting minerals was damaged in an armed assault. This operation was described as part of their efforts to target economic resources and infrastructure associated with Pakistani state interests in the region.

On 26 September, the BLA claimed to have ambushed troops attempting to advance in Kalat’s Zawah area. The attack resulted in casualties among the security forces, further demonstrating the group’s ability to strike at military targets and challenge government authority in Balochistan.

Furthermore, the BLA announced the capture of three men—Ghulam Hussain, Daulat Khan, and Ishaq Nechari—in separate operations in Zehri, Kharan, and Kalat. The group alleged that these individuals had confessed to collaborating with the Pakistani military, participating in raids, enforced disappearances, and highway blockades. The BLA held that these confessions justified their actions against the accused.

According to the statement, the “Baloch National Court” convicted the three men of treason and sentenced them to death. The group claimed that the executions of these individuals had been carried out, emphasizing their stance against those they accuse of working with the occupying forces.

The BLA reaffirmed its commitment to continue operations against the “occupying army and its collaborators” until achieving the goal of “freedom of Balochistan.” The statement underscored their belief that armed resistance is necessary to attain independence and sovereignty for the region.

There was no immediate response from Pakistani authorities regarding the claims made by the BLA. The government’s stance on these allegations and the recent attacks remains unverified, and tensions continue to escalate in the region.
