The British fabricated the false foundation of Britain and played a key role in handing over Balochistan to Pakistan. The Two-Nation Theory to serve their own interests, partitioning the subcontinent and creating Pakistan. In reality, it was not a two-nation theory but a religious one. The true application of the Two-Nation Theory is more evident today in the case of Pakistan and Balochistan. The Baloch and Punjabis are two distinct nations, with completely different languages, cultures, lifestyles, civilizations, and ethics. This proves that the real essence of the Two-Nation Theory is more applicable today.
The forced occupation of Balochistan is a historical fact, where the Baloch and Punjabis stand as two opposing entities. Pakistan occupied Balochistan by force and coerced the Khan of Kalat into signing the accession agreement under duress. Given the current situation, even if the Pakistani army were to place the Qur’an on the head of all the madrassas it has established in Balochistan, the Baloch would still not trust a single word they say. Any form of dialogue between the Baloch nation and Pakistan can only be possible if an international power intervenes as a mediator.
In reality, Britain played a key role in handing over Balochistan to Pakistan. Today, Pakistan has become a menace not only for the Baloch nation but for the entire world. Therefore, Britain must now correct its historical mistake.
