According to local sources and families of the victims, Pakistani security forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared nine individuals from various regions of Balochistan.
In the coastal town of Pasni, forces detained Yar Jan, son of Dad Bakhsh, and Sher Jan, son of Sheikh Dosteen. Both residents of Ward No. 1, Babur Shor, were taken into custody and have not been seen since, with their whereabouts unknown.
Meanwhile, in Dasht Balangur, located in Kech district, security forces conducted a military operation early this morning. During the operation, homes were raided, women and children reportedly harassed, and seven young men were detained and subsequently disappeared.
The individuals forcibly disappeared from Kech are identified as:
– Naseer, son of Washdil
– Afraz, son of Naseer
– Kamal, son of Safa
– Naveed, son of Latif
– Phalan, son of Safa
– Hanif, son of Bakhshi
– Salman, son of Dr. Syed Muhammad
Families of the missing individuals are demanding immediate information regarding their loved ones’ whereabouts and safety, condemning these detentions as unlawful and a violation of fundamental human rights.
